ISO/TS 16949:2002 is a quality management system that describes and proves all working processes concerning product development, production, sales and delivery.
The certification supersedes the previous quality QS 9000 standard, according to which we have been certified since 1998. In practice, ISO/TS 16949:2002 is an extension of ISO 9001:2000 and means, among other things, that we are capable of documenting business processes, a systematic analysis of potential nonconformities and corrective actions, the implementation of customer-specific requirements throughout the organisation, and a company goal of zero defects and 100% on-time delivery.
DBI Plastics received ISO/TS 16949:2002 in 2004 as the world's first producer of protective caps and plugs.
